[2] Satisfying Your Needs as a Consumer:
Everybody's a consumer. We all generally have pretty much the same basic needs, regardless of race, color, creed, age, sex ... or disability.
Although some of us with "disabilities" may have an occasional "special" need (i.e., some sort of assistance or assistive technology that enables us to do whatever most other people can do) , we each have our own lives to live, and we each want to live the best lives we can. The same as anybody else.
And we want to be treated like anybody else by those with whom we do business!
Because of our disabilities, sometimes we may have a challenge locating, or getting in and out of places that could otherwise meet our needs.
Some of us with impaired vision or hearing might have a challenge communicating with people we might otherwise like to do business with.
Nonetheless, we are still consumers, with money to spend, and there are 64 MILLION of us. Collectively, Americans with disabilities have over $220 BILLION in consumer spending power annually.

Any retail business or service provider that is not willing to make the effort to accommodate your "special needs" as a consumer (regardless of the disability issue, and regardless of how you may choose to define your own "special needs") doesn't particularly care about your business, and THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.
